Saturday Clinic

Pat Walker Health Center’s Primary Care Clinic offers Saturday Clinic hours (extended-service hours) for University of Arkansas students, faculty and staff during the Fall and Spring semesters. However, when there are University of Arkansas holiday closures or home football games, there is no Saturday Clinic. Visit our Hours & Location page to view our full-service hours, holiday and Saturday closures, and more.

What are the hours?

Saturday Clinic hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What can I be seen for on Saturday?

Appointments are for acute illnesses and/or injuries ONLY and patients must call 479-575-4451 or walk-in to schedule an appointment. For example, some of our most common appointments are respiratory symptoms, fever, sore throat, ear pain, and minor injuries.

What can I NOT be seen for at a Saturday Clinic?

The primary care provider on staff for a Saturday Clinic cannot see patients for chronic issues, physicals, procedures, prescription refills, or extended appointments for anxiety or depression.

Primary Care is the only discipline offered on Saturday (e.g. we do not offer GYN (Women’s) health, dietitian, orthopedics, psychiatry, integrated behavioral health, orthopedics, or x-ray on the weekend). Patients seeking our other services need to schedule an appointment during our full-service hours of Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How can I schedule a Saturday Clinic appointment?

*Note: you cannot schedule a Saturday Clinic appointment via our patient web portal. You MUST call 479-575-4451 or walk-in to schedule an appointment.
